PAGEWRIGHT END USER LICENSE AGREEMENT Version 2.3 | Effective March 2026 Please read this agreement carefully before installing PageWright. LICENSE GRANT ------------------------------------------------------------------------ PageWright is provided as licensed software for a one-time fee of $5.99 (USD). You are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use PageWright on any number of computers you personally own or control, for any lawful purpose, including commercial use. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ 2. RESTRICTIONS ------------------------------------------------------------------------ You may NOT: - Redistribute, resell, or sublicense PageWright as a standalone product - Remove or alter any copyright notices, branding, or attribution - Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the software except as permitted by applicable law - Represent PageWright as your own product or creation You MAY: - Use PageWright for personal and commercial purposes - Install PageWright on multiple computers you own - Recommend or link to the official website for others to download ------------------------------------------------------------------------ 3. NO WARRANTY ------------------------------------------------------------------------ PAGEWRIGHT IS PROVIDED AS-IS WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NONINFRINGEMENT. THE ENTIRE RISK AS TO THE QUALITY AND PERFORMANCE OF THE SOFTWARE IS WITH YOU. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ 4. NO GUARANTEED SUPPORT ------------------------------------------------------------------------ PageWright is developed and maintained by FifthWhy, LLC, a Wisconsin limited liability company. While reasonable efforts are made to fix bugs and improve the software, no guarantee of technical support, updates, or continued development is made. Support may be provided at FifthWhy, LLC's discretion but is not an obligation of this license. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ 5. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY ------------------------------------------------------------------------ IN NO EVENT SHALL THE AUTHOR OR COPYRIGHT HOLDER BE LIABLE FOR ANY CLAIM, DAMAGES, OR OTHER LIABILITY, WHETHER IN AN ACTION OF CONTRACT, TORT, OR OTHERWISE, ARISING FROM, OUT OF, OR IN CONNECTION WITH THE SOFTWARE OR THE USE OR OTHER DEALINGS IN THE SOFTWARE. THIS INCLUDES BUT IS NOT LIMITED TO ANY LOSS OF DATA, LOSS OF REVENUE, OR DAMAGE TO FILES OR SERVERS RESULTING FROM THE USE OF PAGEWRIGHT. You are solely responsible for maintaining backups of your website files independent of PageWright built-in backup feature. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ 6. PRIVACY ------------------------------------------------------------------------ PageWright does not collect, transmit, or store any personal data. The software runs entirely on your local machine. The only network connections made are: - To your FTP, FTPS, or SFTP server (using credentials you provide) - To your website URL (for the Live Preview feature) Your credentials are encrypted with AES-256-GCM and stored locally on your machine. No data is sent to FifthWhy, LLC, any third-party analytics service, or any server other than those you configure. THIRD-PARTY SOFTWARE ------------------------------------------------------------------------ PageWright includes open-source components licensed under the MIT License, Apache License 2.0, and other permissive licenses. A complete list of third-party software and their licenses is included in the LICENSES.txt file installed with the application. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ 8. TERMINATION ------------------------------------------------------------------------ This license is effective until terminated. It terminates automatically if you fail to comply with any term of this agreement. Upon termination, you must uninstall and destroy all copies of the software. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ 9.
