By downloading or using PageWright, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the software.
PageWright is a desktop code editor for managing website files over FTP, FTPS, SFTP, or local folders. It runs entirely on your computer. The software is provided free of charge with an optional pay-what-you-want contribution model.
PageWright is licensed, not sold. You may install and use PageWright on any number of computers you personally own or control. You may not reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the software. You may not redistribute, resell, or sublicense PageWright or bundle it with other products.
PageWright edits files you provide and connects to servers you configure. You own your content. We do not access, collect, or store any of your files, credentials, or data. You are solely responsible for the content you create, edit, and publish using PageWright.
Payments are voluntary contributions processed by LemonSqueezy, who acts as the Merchant of Record. LemonSqueezy handles all payment processing, sales tax, and billing. See our Refund Policy for details on refunds.
PageWright is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the software will be error-free, uninterrupted, or fit for any particular purpose. You use PageWright at your own risk.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, PageWright and its developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the software. This includes but is not limited to data loss, server issues, or business interruption. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the software.
While PageWright creates automatic local backups before saving files to your server, these backups are a convenience feature, not a guarantee. You are responsible for maintaining your own backups of important files and data.
PageWright connects to servers and services you configure (FTP hosts, websites). We are not responsible for the availability, security, or terms of any third-party server or hosting provider you connect to through PageWright.
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of PageWright after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. Material changes will be noted on the PageWright website.
